    First hunt ever!

Hello everyone. So yesterday I purchased my first MD. I chose to get a White's Coin Master for a starter. (I actually purchased it from a local dealer @ Prostock Metal Detectors in SW MI. Not really trying to advertise anything, just want to inform everyone on what a sweet shop they have there, and he offers all the different types of MD's.) So went out today, to a local park where there is also a small beach front to a lake. So spent about 2 hours in the sand. Didn't really find much, but sure was happy to find something, and to know my MD was working properly. Managed to find quite of few pull tabs though. All in all I found a 75' Nickel, 74' Penny, and some sort of garden hose attachment I believe. Suggestions could possibly help. Thanks to everyone for viewing.

Well you bought that detector from the right guy! Al at Pro Stock is my dealer too. Honest, fair, and will answer all your questions.
Do you plan to come to the next club meeting? I want to check out that relic. I don't think it is for a hose. WTG on your first hunt.

Thanks Mike! It's cool to see that I went shopping at the right store. Took me about an hour and a half to get there, but the trip was well worth it! I'm wondering if that relic could quite possibly have something to do with the military, since I found it within about 50 feet of a VFW. Really would like to come to the next club meet! Not sure if I will be able to, but I am going to do my most! But yeah once again, really happy with this metal detector, and just ready for tomorrow to come, so I can continue hunting!
