Looks like a type of one. I found one years ago and took a while to get every piece out of the whole. Very cool victorian find!

I'm surprised that purse isn't smothered with grass roots. I found something similar about a year ago, although not intact, and I ended up tossing it cuz the roots were so entangled in it. Did you have to clean it before these pics?

Yes It was cleaned before the pic but it was mostly dirt caked to it , it was down about 8 inches....
