Mike from MI
Labor Day hunt......
Grace and I went to Lake MI and met up with Mike from Chicago and his buddy Jerry from South Haven, MI. Finds were slim and after a little over 3 hours my batteries went dead so Grace and I went to the van to get more and have a PB&J sandwich and a drink before going back to the lake. I unloaded my pouch and had about $3.00 in clad and one big Tungsten Carbide wedding band. Got down to the lake and found Mike and Jerry were going to hit the road. Had fun hunting with them as usual. Grace and I went back to where we left off because we were getting shells, fossils, and deep targets. Dug another Tungsten band, and later a little sterling ring. Got a kids charm gizmo, more fossils, some more clad, a car, and lead thing with the word Taste on it? Ended the day with more keepers then trash. This is Grace's last day before school starts tomorrow. What a great day!
Now the other side of the coin is Fridays hunt. Also with two friends and my daughter. Different story as I got 92 trash and only a few keepers. Top two pics are Friday. Still had fun and my one buddy got an 18K ear ring worth over $300 in scrap!

Choice hunt Mike. Love the ring with the Gaelic pattern on it. But where are the fossil pics?
Listen-- are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life?
