Bring the sterling silver ring to the next swmss meeting to have the diamonds checked by Mike. Very neat style of ring. congrats on the wheats and Kennedy as well. any chance of cleaning up the 194x wheat to find the actual date. perhaps it is a lotto ticket and turn out to be a 43.

Nice finds! Usually the stones in sterling are not real. These days they are starting to put some real diamonds in silver due to the high cost of gold. The smaller the stones, the better the chance they are real. Congrats!

Nice looking ring, and you found a hard to get Kennedy half, congrats!
Hope the diamonds are real. A jeweler explained to me that CZ's are actually harder than diamonds, give off more color, and are better suited for jewelry use. It didn't make me feel any better about the silver/CZ ring I just found, lol.

In the Kennedy half of 1971 was the first year that there was no silver. After 1964 they still had 40% silver up until 1970. Bummer, I seem to always miss the silver by one year on any given coin like it is some sort of curse. But that is why we keep trying, you never know what your going to find.
