Last few water hunts. Been chilly and had to nurse a sore knee so only got out 3 times the last 3 weeks. The ring on the fish acid tests platinum but has no mark. Dollar coin was the best find for the hunt with the pink ribbon piece. Arrow head pendant was first target today, two cheap ear rings, and a 14 coin spill all pennies! Best find today was on the way home hit a garage sale and got a silver ring, silver bracelet, a silver necklace, and silver ear rings. All for $1.35

Platinum is soft; so soft the mint marked could have been "rubbed" or eroded off. And kudos on the sil bargain ;)

Great score on the Platinum Mike!! :headbang: WTG on the Silver deal ya found too. What water detector do you use? A guy at work was asking about purchasing a water detector and wanted to know which was the most bang for the buck

I use the Fisher CZ-21 and a CZ-20. You can get an AT Pro cheaper unless you go used. The fisher series is built like a tank and it is good for 250 feet.

Nice digs Mike. How come when I stop at a garage sale all the prices seem to reflect retail. I recall the day when people had a garage sale to get rid of stuff and priced things so they would sell, not as an additional form of income. Great that you came across those bargain silver items
