Hello all,

Despite the chilly rain, I secured permission on an old yard today with a beautiful Victorian home. Funny story - the owner agreed but said I won't find much because his Dad combed the yard with a detector many times while living there and he had found old coins and relics. Excited that Dad missed a few......... 1847 Large Cent, 1885 Indian, 1962 Rosie and 5 Wheaties ranging from 44-56D. Good luck out there!

WTG on one sweet LC, Brent. :hello2: They are one of my favorite coins to find. I remember you finding your first on that group hunts years back. How many are you up to now, US and Canadian? Keep digging!

WTG man! Nice excavation, best hunts are the ones that you don't have to drive far...congrats on the LC and the rest, those LC's sure are hard to come by!

Sweet finds ! I hope to find a large cent one day. The missile looks like one I had as a kid that you put "caps" in. Again sweet finds.

Nice work! Funny, my first LC has also been my oldest. (1829) Hard to imagine that MI wasn't even a state yet when it was minted. Congrats on all the above. I think LC's are one of my favorite coins to find and I never knew about them until I started MDing....what's up with that? :laughing7:
