Tried a new spot today. I have been doing a lot of new spot testing to see if they will be good to hit in the future. I don't think this has been hit due to the number of targets and coins. Hard pack bottom lake with only 1-3 inches of sand on top. For everyone that lake hunts this is easy scooping. In three hours I got one merc, two buffs, 12 wheats, a cool lead soldier with the paint still on, and lots of clad.

You have got to buy yourself an underwater machine and hit the chest deep areas. You have some very good sites!

Also look at the White's stuff. I've heard there is a new water machine in the works. I've had good success with the White's machines. Look at the Sunspot stealth scoops. Stainless steel, expensive but you buy it once! It works well in the northern Oakland county lakes with the gravel bottoms that i detect in

I have a good scoop I use already. Bought it on ebay a could of years ago. Welded 1/4" aluminum and it will last forever.

Just curious, I know you are lake hunting. Are you just doing out in front of peoples houses? Or old swimming areas?
