I just couldn't wait! Glad I went snow and all. Check token,back side is blank except ring around edge. The button has a coal train picture wonder who wore that?? conductor? Second one i have found in this area. I have been using my Tesoro Cibola for 8 years now. I love it!!! I am hunting a spot that at least 10 guys have pounded that I know of with various detectors and they won't go there any more. I might be biased but holy smokes I think tesoros rule! The 1910 penny was 1\2 in. deep couldn't believe it. If anyone has any info on token that would be great. I have done some research and I can't seem to find hill top version. Sorry i have rambled. Thanks for looking and hope you Michigan guys and gals have as much luck and fun as I have.

Per a listing on tokencatalog.com, IND. BRG. CO. tokens are attributed to INDEPENDENT BREWING CO. that issued numerous 5 tokens that were used in SW Pennsylvania. Some tokens have IND. BRG.CO. on them, others have IND. BREW. CO. on them. This was probably used at a saloon called "AMERICAN" in SW Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh, McKees Rocks, etc.).

That last sentence pertains to the one in the listing. Yours says Hill Top and that is probably the name of the saloon that used it. The initials above that are probably those of the saloon-keeper.

You might consider posting pics of both sides of yours on tokencatalog and somebody with PA references might be able to get a better bead on it.
