I put the mystery relic on the what is it page and they solved it. It's a trammel compass carriage. It was used for scribing marks in wood.

That's a lot of digging, for sure! :icon_thumright: Congrats on some nice finds. Love the lock plates...could make a cool display with those in a frame. Love the compass carriage, sweet relic MW!

Anne i didn't know anything was their. I checked out the dirt to see if there was any broken glass or iron and i found a couple clay marbles. I got the detector and hit it hard for three days.
