    first day out 3-16-08

First day and Ive already got two silvers a 1960 dime and a sterling silver ring found at my grandfathers house he passed away 2 years ago and the house is now vacant dates back to the late 1930's but no older coins I just love the sight of silver gleaming its amazing how clean it looks coming from the dirty ground compared to clad dimes I cleaned the dime off real good and stuck it in under my tongue sounds crazy but its an old trick for luck and whammo shortly after was a silver ring mind you I wouldnt do this with copper but silver is a natural disinfectant it kills bacteria so it was completely safe I recommend trying this and see your luck shine

Congrats on the finds. Don't find too much silver or you could turn blue!!!! Where are you hunting thats frost free? I did a little poking around theyard today in the snowless areas, but the best I could do was 2-1/2" deep till I hit rock hard frost.
