Found at a local OLD church

Got permission to hunt a very old church near me, I had spoken to the church historian and she gave me some good info on what areas might produce. One of the areas was where the horse's were lodged during church services so I made a few passes and came up with these 2 beauties, the half dime is perfect, has not been cleaned only with soap and water. The pics I have do it no justice and I have new ones coming soon.Indian head is a 1867 and the half dime is a 1854. The Half dime has been nominated for the banner

Re: Found at a local OLD church

Lonesome Bob that church was in St. Joesph county where I live, I almost always hunt there as I have many early 1800's plat maps of this county showing me where all the prime spots are. And I never worry about claim jumpers as I feel its all open to anybody that swings a coil! Nobody can ever hunt a spot completely out as I have went behind many other MD'ers and made finds so feel free to explore
