    My first old V-nickel, and it's a fake???

    Old ballfield coughed up this nickel, the reverse detail is just the opposite of a normal coin. Details are relief is indented, not raised. V and all lettering is reversed, also has reeded surface. The liberty/date side of the coin is blank. What the ?

    Thats a super cool find Duane. You should do some research into how that coin may have come about. Very cool find. I love different finds like that.
