Been about a week and a half since I last hit some silver, didn't expect any, so it was a nice.
I had pulled out 2 1965 quarters and was thinking what I always think, one year, just one year. Then about an hour later( a ring and a bit of clad) I found a 64' Washington. It was sweet, but it was deep around 7" and a semi iffy signal. I thanked the silver gods, and was rewarded about 20 minutes later with a clip on earring that is marked with Mexico 925. Was a rather good hunt, hot today but low humidity, glad I went out.
Thanks mpostma, you can wish me good luck anytime(thank you). I found a single silver coin on each of my next four hunts, the last coin being a 44' merc.
Thank you aa battery,U.P. Northwoods,Booty and Hollow pointred.
I prefer the cooler weather, but already I'm thinking about how it will be snowy and too cold to get out. Hope to find me a few more silvers before that happens, 'cause it's out there.
