Schoolhouse revisited

We didn't get much rain here, half an inch? Went back to the schoolhouse that I had tried earlier. While I was there, someone drove up onto the lawn asking if I had permission to be there, as they had chased off countless detectorists from that property.
All's good I told them, as I had verbal ok from the owner.
Not a lot of moisture in the dirt, and not a large site. Managed to snare a chauffeur's badge, scan doesn't do it justice, as it cleaned up to somewhat shiny metal.
Also, red goose brass token, don't know much about that. Amc

Like that badge. Quite collectible too. Red Goose Shoes, I remember thad and owning a few pair. Gildersleeve from the old radio days used to do the Red Goose Shoe TV commercials. Don't know if you recall that? Anyway nice finds and hope you have even better luck.

I've always wanted to find a chauffers badge. They are cool. Great find. You'll probably keep finding stuff at that site for years to come as you get better each year detecting. Congrats on the token too. People collect just about everything so hold on to those tokens and what nots. Keep up the good work Duane. I haven't been able to detect now for a month. This business thing is kinda working. Just need to get the word out. I miss detecting though. I wait for you guys to find stuff so I have something to look at. keep em coming. Jim

Wow, chauffeur badge is very cool. I love relics with writing on them. Red Goose token is a keeper, too.
