A Hot Hard Woods Hunt

Okay...I said last week I wouldn't go out and battle this heat anymore but I went scouting some woods near an area where a known civil war camp was and I found some promising finds. Woods are very thick and hard to get to many spots but I'll be back in the winter. My hunting partner found a bayonet scabbard tip and 2 bullets. I found these iron frame buckles, a brass martingale strap buckle, a toe plate and fragments to an harmonica reed.

Well, my hunting partner found a dropped .36 caliber pistol ball and a fired 3 ringer but no bullets for me. They are in there. It's going to take more hunting and scouting the area. Two hours just about killed us yesterday.
