I found my first gold chain yesterday evening !!!!!
I decided to go after work to a freshwater lake to do some detecting since I haven't been in a good while. And I sure am glad I did !
I started out with my Seahunter and wasn't doing too good, so I went and got my Ace 250. I started finding some clad and then I waded out knee deep.
I got one of those signals that I wasn't too sure of and decided to dig it anyway.
I sure was glad I did.
The chain and cross is 14 K and weights 11.9 grams.
I'm seriously thinking about water proofing my Ace.

 Congrats on such a nice chain and cross, the first is always the hardest to come by. You can bet somebody is not a happy camper over losing that one! Again, Congrats and HH

Great finds Salty..... It still amazes me how well the Ace 250 does. I've found a rivet head from someone's wranglers at 10" deep with mine.   Look forward to seeing you post more finds.
