A first and coveted bucket lister realized

The first is that this is my first posting in three years as a member and don't even know if I am posting in the right location. Was looking for daily finds, if wrong please change administrator.

Anyway never post finds as I feel mine never compare to others but today I finally got my coil over a long desired bucket lister, a silver dollar.

Have hunted little since early spring, been very dry and I had no new permissions. So I finally had a couple new permissions in a small town about 30 miles from my house and we got about 2" rain the other night.

Found a small party of four injuns, two mercs, a '39 and a '44, 3 wheaties, a ladies sterling silver ring, and my long desired 1900 O mint mark Morgan silver dollar. Did manage to give her a scar with my digger from mouth corner to jaw.

Sorry had not yet cleand of dirt when I took photos except for the ring. Wow first silver dollar and first finds post.

Thanks Truth, I've been coveting one for a long time! See other members posting them occasionally and always thought, why can't I get my coil over one? Finally yesterday was the day! Also only my second keeper ring that wasn't junk. The reasons I finally posted finds, I was nearly beside myself, lol.

Congratulations, thanks for posting, and welcome to the silver dollar club!
Believe it or not, I found a 1900 O Morgan this year as well, on 4-15-18.

I doubt the stone is real as it appears cloudy or stained on top flat surface. Also the setting seems cheep to me but what do I know. I was sure a picture wouldn't show marking inside but says, "sterling pat pend". Lol, patent pending, what the hell is that? Why not .925 or something? Anyone know?
