7-5-09 Finds

Tried a new spot today.

Started finding wheaties right away. Thought it might be a good day for silver. Could only find one 49 silver rosie and a nice heavy men's silver ring. Not too bad, but was hoping for more.

8 wheaties total. 1 silver dime. 4 clad quarters.
12 clad dimes. 34 memorial cents.

Here's the notable finds. I tore ol' Abe's face off one of the 53's. Sorry, Mr. President.

If you were dirt fishing I know that rain we got Saturday night was help in diggin. Nice finds and silver is always a bonus.

The ground is still very dry and hard; even with the rain we got Saturday.

The cooler weather is what promped me to go huntin' for a while.

My silver coin count is now 39 for the year.

50 is my goal for 09.
