A good flint day in Western Oklahoma

Had a tip on what was supposed to be a good location in a county adjacent mine in Western, Oklahoma. Turns out, the site was better than we could have hoped for. The following photo is of some of the pieces found. When I get everything cleaned and categorized, I'll post more photos.

Yep, If I had any sense at all, I would have rested up and returned yesterday. I suspect Tuesday I'll be hitting it again. That location has sure soured me on going back to some of my closer haunts were finding two or three points is considered a good day. But then again, every field has something to offer and something to teach us. Come see us. By the way, I've attached a photo of an abrader stone (fragment), I believe. Would very much like some comment about this piece. I believe it is sandstone, from which I understand most of these are made. mm
