Found these today under some old apple trees.

1948 and 1961 Quarters, 1956 and 1961 roosevelts. 2 late 50's wheats.
One ring (I think its silver) --looks like boy scout ring.
One Grim Land Play Coin.
A ton of clad and nickels from 1964.

Note the unspent 22 short. I found these with the silver.

Used a CZ-3D. I have been out of detecting for 10 years and just got back into it. I had a 1266-X years back and loved it.
Almost, was ready to trade this in for a used one or a 1270. But, after giving it a chance it is a great machine. You just have to give it
some time in an area with not so much trash so you can get a feel for it. I tried it today at notch level 3 and dug so much my thumb hurts.
I guess anything new takes some time to adjust to. One of my best days ever by the way!!!!

I checked it out late last night.
It is sterling silver.
I kind of thought by the weight and feel of it and the lustre.
