My first hunt in my backyard last night revealed..... an old pulley of some sort, two mashed aluminum cans, a very old looking chain with a hand hammered piece of metal on the end-maybe an animal tie-out? AND.....a rusted large electrical outlet with the plugs still in in. SCORE!! :) Honestly, I'm just doing this for fun... I'm hooked!

Any tips for a beginner??? I'm brand new to metal-detecting and this site. I have a bounty-hunter detector. :)

Sounds like your enjoying the hunt! Tips...just get out there and practice. Listen and try to understand what the MD is telling you. It will take some time. Fill your holes.... most importantly have fun.

Nice finds LadyK. Now, try to figure out how to take pictures so we can all actually see your finds.
