old grist mill,or tannery paradise twp pa
was hunting an old homestead built in 1885,and stumbled on an old grist mill or tannery, did not find it until almost dark, but i did get some pictures of the house and mill... mill looks as old as the house, the house was the first one to be built in that section of the twp. I will post pictures as soon as can figure out how too ,I did find a metal hunting license plate from 1925 from pa. hunting license #3895 the same # as my fire dept i.d.number.. how strange is that and what are the odds...mike

Mike,
Please PM or email me regarding Paradise township. I grew up there. My parents still live there. Although I've lived in Virginia for nearly 20 years. I'm curious about the spot you found.

Re: old grist mill,or tannery paradise twp pa
I live in Allentown grew up all over Eastern Pa.. I started collecting Native American artifacts about 2 years ago when I stumbled across one completely accidental. I knew what it was right away because When I was a boy My father and I would go out in the freshly plowed spring farm land in search of arrowheads. I have uncles who had nice rock collections I was amazed by back then as well. Well I am super intrigued and amazed at the history and thrill of the find. Problem is I have NO one that shares it. No one that would go on a search any way. Let me know if any one knows of a club or anything in Southeastern or Eastern Pa. I would REALLY like to have someone look at my collection as well. VERY excited and proud to have a number of them.
