It's a genuine question, not sure what the rules might be? We've never sold any so perhaps do not really seem like treasure hunters, either?

Started using colored pencil to make these clearer. There's this argument " How could an ancient culture have carved such fine lines? " Think we have that answer- most are not rock, something, either clay or a weird, ' mache ' was applied over rock. You can see the layer when these are broken.

There's a great female, with infant, a deer cliff carving ( think it's a deer ) several human heads, what seems to be an effigy of a child. OH a very worn wolf head, wish I was a better photographer. It has fangs, eyes, ears, etc, I'm just a very bad photographer.

We're ' old ' Pennsylvania, deep roots through Schuylkill County, Schuylkill Haven, Pottsville, Tamaqua- can't say how many ' greats ' are buried in that county. Dad knew where all the fossils were, growing up in Tamaqua- as a kid we had those things all over our bedrooms. We thought it was just what you did. I see St. Clair is THE place known for them? Interesting. They're elsewhere, too. Goodness. Ferns, grasses, things we had no clue how to identify. Pick up a piece of slate, split it- poof, like the best game ever. Been knocking around our mountains gosh, since before I can remember, and I'm 58.

Still referring to Pennsylvania- seem really alone out here! It's hysterical. When we first began finding these old Native American things we dutiful looked up " What to do when you find artifacts ". Dutifully did it. Nope. In fact, those responsible for taking these reports seemed a little dismissive. You know " Well, Native Americans may have been in New York, Ohio, New Jersey, West Virginia and Maryland but Pennsylvania had all their No Trespassing signs up by 1200 AD. They dropped an arrowhead or two hundred thousand but were purely nomadic. They saw on Twitter where all the elk were in New York. No, the effigies you have there are accidental rock formations. "

*Sigh*. Really not posting photos for any other purpose except ‘ Treasures in PA ‘, be great to know who else finds these? There are cliff carvings here too, pretty cool.
