I see you guys talking about Braddock's Gold & Campsites!

Well here is just one item I found this year at an 1755 Campsite. This a small hammer and it is tapered and it has a square hole in it. I have it cooking right now so when I am done I'll post what it looks like cleaned. I have found a quite of few items from Braddock's campsites but this I found last month.

Nice find, any idea on the age? I work on part of the site that is supposed to
be part of Braddock's field. Always wonder about those hill surrounding that
area. Historians say it was not a orderly retreat, thought about looking in the hills south of Braddock. At one time there was a plaque on the border of McKeesport & White Oak stating ,'this was the site of Braddock's last encampment
before the battle', I've seen it but it hasn't been there for years.
