Scouting new areas turns up finds!

Hey Ya'll Here is a nice compact with an intricate design, some dropped minies, fired minies, a colonial flat button and some camp lead that I found while Ronin and I were scouting out new areas this past weekend.

kinda just breaking into this part of the forum because I'm still a little new but those are sweet finds! I can't wait to find a bullet or something from the CW! If anyone in here needs a buddy for a hunt let me know! I can drive drive drive and I'll even get or bring lunch if you're nice! I haven't been able to locate a single CW site to hunt yet...starting to suck a little bit!

Lol, you live in RICHMOND, VA. Have you tried your own yard yet? Shouldn't be ANY problem finding stuff around there.

I know how you feel. I live in Richmond and it is very hard to find a place around or near here to search. I'm open for any suggestions.

Im new to hunting but have been finding 3 ringers in my back field now for a week. 6 so far, also a couple of mini balls, ax head, and a old button. That my friends is the entire collection. However total hunting time combined 5 hours. The other stuff Im going to have to work for. Its hidden better. Whats great,is being able to use mixed mode (all metal non motion) theres little to no trash in the woods. PAGain 4, if I come with-in a foot of metal my machine screams...
Im very excited for my next big find...
