i found these a couple weeks ago. the 5 iron rings, some forged, the stove lid lifter and what i thought were a couple of nice silver items when i pulled them out of the ground. the spoon is marked 1877 niagra falls silver co. and it turned out to be plated and the compact came out of the ground almost as it looks in the picture but there are no hallmarks or markings of any kind. i'm not sure what it is made of, it's to stiff for aluminum and if it was plated i would assume it would be peeling or look like the spoon. i cleaned up the matching forged rings and used them as handles on the treasure chest i was in the process of making. rings.jpg c1.jpg c2.jpg c3.jpg c4.jpg

Pretty handy there making that fine treasure box.
I think you may have to build a bigger one in the near future.
I can see the copper spear has its own special slot.
