F5 dd 5 coil
Hello all,
I use my F5 pretty regular and enjoy it. Most of the areas I hunt in are pretty trashy and lots of mineralization. Would the 5" coil help much with target seperation? How much depth would I lose? They run about 135$ so I am trying to justify the cost and would love to hear from anyone that has used one.
If I get some good reviews I will pick one up. I would love to be able to go back through some trashy spots I gave up on and try to fish out some coins/ jewelry.
Thx all,
Monolyth

Re: F5 dd 5 coil
I'm shure you will get the seperation of targets
if the coil works properly, the 5" DD,
15x12" SEF (Butterfly), and 10x12" SEF (Butterfly)
are all after market coils made in Bulgaria
according to the dealer that i use and are made
for Kellyco.

Re: F5 dd 5 coil
Hey Dave,
I believe the SEF coils are Hungarian, just returned the 15" X 12" SEF to Kellyco because it performed so poorly. There is a small SEF for ML's but not for Fisher units.
The 5" DD and 6" ellipticals are Fisher/FT products I'm pretty sure. They can be gotten in the Pro packages with some detectors now.
BTW, still waiting, Kellyco got the coil back a week ago Monday and said they'd give me a full price store credit but I have to wait until the unit is re-issued to stock there.
Wanting to get the 5" DD for my F 70. Hello, Kellyco Chick! Expedite! Expedite! Please?!?
Hey Monolyth,
Pretty sure the smallie will ferret out some goodies for you. Next to/under fenclines where possible, right up to posts and hardware in totlots, etc.. Use it everywhere that it gives an edge and it'll pay off in no time.
