    CZ 21 10.5" or 8" ?

iv owned 5 CZ's but all were the 8" coil..question...im about to buy a new CZ21 and would like to know is the 10.5 really that much deeper? i know id like the 8" better in the water as for less drag but if there is a big diff in depth i might change my mind.the surf here is too rough most of the time to go in the water..thanks

Oh, its definitely deeper at maybe 3 inches but the important thing is the extra cubic inches of coverage you get per sweep.

I had no trouble in the surf controling the larger coil.

    To quote Tom Dankowski:

The 10.5" coil is nearly a couple of inches deeper on coins/rings at the beach. It'll also 'see' approx 5-gallons of sand at any given split-second.........where as the 8" coil will only view approx 1-gallon of sand. You will see 5X more targets with the 10.5" coil. Five times more effecient. Five times more finds.

I've got both 8" and 10.5" coils the 10.5" is the most used even in water, larger sweep area mean less sweeps for same coverage.
