    well going to try a f-5

    found a nice fisher f-5 and maybe might try a SEF coil on this as well maybe some one give me some idea what to expect depthwise?
    always on the quest of finding the machine that fits me!

    I would not try the SEF coil. Last spring I bought the ginormous one for my F70. It was a total waste. Lost depth on every target category. GB was consistent so I think the coil was tuned correctly, simply weak. I returned it and went to the small coil instead, 5" DD and it was deeper and more accurate than the 15 * 12 SEF.

    I know the SEF coils work good on Minelabs, know a few guys using them. But so far I have not seen one work on a Fisher and have read one other bad report from a Fisher user who tried the SEF coil.

    Probably best off with the concentric coil that is from Fisher for the machine.
