Will the F75 (or any detector) respond to titanium?

My wife has had neck, back and right knee surguries that required metal braces and a full replacement of her knee. Her knee sounds off just great with the Pro Pointer, but, the titanium in her neck and back doesn't make a peep! I didn't scan her with the F75. This came up because she is flying this weekend and got a note from her doctor for the TSA personnel so they don't take her knee apart! Before the knee replacement, the other implants (titanium) never set off the detectors.

    Just found that kinda strange.......
