Dave J...what is the ground balance range on the Goldbug2 ??

Hi Dave... I've got a hotrock that ground balances fine with the F75 at a readout of "52". Using the minimum Goldbug2 ground balance setting it still responds as a positive hotrock.... hence the question. Thanks for any help you can supply.

Well, ya caught me away from the office with that post, Matt, I don't any numbers handy. The F75 balances all the way to salt, the GB2 doesn't go nearly that far. However it's possible that the difference you're observing is not so much the ground balance scaling, as a hot rock that responds more positive at 71 kHz than at 13 kHz.

Rule of thumb with the GB2, if you can't balance out a hot rock in the air, break the sucker and see what the pieces look like and how they respond. If it's got gold in it, you don't want to be most recent beeperist to have thrown away the same ugly rock.
