F70 probably better for general use esp. if you need slow mode for deep silver. GB Pro better if you intend to do any gold prospecting, but it is also a good general purpose detector.

Haven't used the F70, but what woof said sounds about right to me.
I have the GB Pro. and also the 10"DD coil to go with it and it is very sensitive to small targets.

The gold bug pro is much more stable because of the dual processors. Its a ton more sensitive to smaller objects due to the 19 khz frequency. I love the detector for hunting in iron and trash.

If depth is a concern then the F70 will be the best bet. I found that the GB pro does not hit on silver as hard as other Fisher machines but hit harder and deeper on low conductors.
