He sent me a pm the other day asking about vids I have done on the F70 because be liked a few I have out there I recorded when hunting with the F2.
Most vids I tend to do have something to do with learning something about the tools I use and not just hunting or showing a target already dug sitting on top of a pile of dirt.
I replied for the last couple years I have done most of my internet stuff on a Kindle because right now I have no place to set up my computer and process any Go Pro vids.
I guess I could use my phone and do a few but it is a hassle to hunt with one hand holding that phone in the other.
I didn't realize he wanted to watch them as tutorials till I saw this thread.
I just sent him a bunch of links on three different forums of about a million words I have written on my adventures and what I discovered learning about hunting in mineralization, heavy iron, and trash using all kinds of settings like DP, high thresh, all metal, monotone and more.
He should have plenty to read where he can learn a few things from and try if he wants to.

Maybe I should gather them a up and put together a little ebook or something...with the new Patriot coming out soon it should all transfer over to that one, too.

The manuals for this and most other detectors are just a starting point, there is so much more if you dive deep into the possible setting combinations and what can happen if you do and so many different ways to have success using wildly different settings if you are into exploring past the basic factory start up presets.

Thanks for the vids AND links digger. I've been reading all the threads you've sent and I'm learning a lot. I'm taking the f70 out tomorrow and I'll be using some of the settings you've used and recommended and hopefully I'll find some goodies!
