I’ve had my F75 for a good 3 years . I use it a lot and it’s been around many a cellar hole and many rugged hikes . It’s been banged , bumped , dropped and used as a walking stick many a time. Three weeks ago it started chattering uncontrollably and the usual fixes didn’t work. I called Fisher and sent it planning to buy a new coil as I figured that was the most likely cause. But I wanted it checked out and was willing to pay the cost. Well yesterday I got it back; new 11”coil , new grips ,new screen and cover protector and all shined up. It was like new . I searched for my bill and even called. But all this was done at no charge. Wow I am impressed and I’ve always loved this machine. When they come up with the next generation Fisher has my business and I recommend them and their detectors without hesitation. MAGA

Not had any malfunctions yet to try out there costumer service but I certainly like what I hear. Between the Patriot and the F75+ I put well over 100 hours on them late this winter and early spring. Love'em.

I've never experienced better customer service than I have from First Texas Products. I bought a Bounty Hunter 3300 at a pawn shop about ten years ago. A few years ago the speaker had come loose in the case. In an attempt to repair it I broke the keypad membrane during disassembly. So I called them up and explained everything to them including the fact that I'd bought it quite used. They told me to mail it in and they'd let me know what it'd cost to fix it. I got it back a week later no charge. They called it a "courtesy repair." I call it "That's how you get a customer for life." Think about it. aside from the cost of repair it's not all that different than me bringing an '07 Ford Escort into the dealership and saying "I accidentally stripped out the drain plug while changing oil. It ran dry and now the motor's rattling." and them saying "No charge on this engine replacement."
Also they recently they fixed my Land Ranger Pro's pinpoint button as well. Free again of course. My Teknetics Patriot has had no problems but I'm sure if it ever does they'll take care of me.

Gaspipe I was wondering if the problem went away completely or if it is still having chatter issues ?

Yeah it was the coil. They are very hot machines anyway and I run mine at high sensitivity. I use it in remote spots with no outside interference. Not likely an ideal machine to look for coins in a city park with wires all around . And never use it with your cellphone in front pocket.

I just love my F-22. Never had a single issue yet. The water "resistant" control box is just great. Hard to know when you will be caught in the rain.

Funny part about it is you can dial back the sensitivity on an f75 all the way to 0 and still find deeper than average coins. I have a buried silver rosie at 7" in my front yard. You should see the f75 smash that coin on 0 sens! It does have the Tornado coil on it but still...

That means zero does not mean no signal going into the ground, just that it's the lowest possible sensitivity
I started using my f75 with a 10"x5" DD
Coil that I got for my teknetics Omega.
Performance is amazing. Competes well with my Equinox 800 w/ standard 11" coil. Works so well I'm not planning on getting the 6" coil for the nox but will use the f75 with the 10x5 in trashy and brushy areas. I hate changing out coils.

I've had the F75lTD for 12 years and it's hard to beat. I USE mine with the NEL Tornado coil and it's pretty deep and First Texas is a great company. I had talked to the help desk when I first got the machine and they were very helpful

whole different topic but if I had one shot to find a masked target in iron and the only two options for detectors were an F75 and an 800 I would be loading up my Equinox. Just from my experiences so far.
