north port hunting

my father recently moved to north port and before he moved he said he was going to do some tecting and was wondering if anyone from the area had any ideas where he should go thanks

Hi geo4472,
This is coinshooter55 I live in Rotonda West, Fl. Is it North Port Fl your dad is or has moved to, I work the beaches dry sanding it or in the water, don't do much land hunting its a little to warm (HOT) to work other than for about 3 months of the year, I do pretty good just working the beach area's. Been detecting since 1973. still enjoy the hobby , "Have a Great Day and Year"
