Anyone Found French or British coins from 1700s in Florida??

Hi

I have done some history research and have seen that British and French have been in Florida as early as the 1700s.

Has anyone here found any of these coins. i would think they would be extremely rare, being that not many French or British people were living here during that time.

I have been doing some research and see there may be some French wrekcs still undiscovered along the coast between the old fort caroline area and st augustine...

french fort caroline --1659 * however the spanish wiped them out and set up st augustine --- the british settlers from up north often invaded "spanish florida" over the years --like in 1702 * when they came down from up north (ga / south carolina area)--- wiping out all the spanish missions and settlements in northeast florida as they went southward to st augustine --- luckily for the spanish --st augustine held out and the british left after a while when supplies ran short..

the british ruled florida 1763 to 1783 ( the british had taken cuba in war and the spanish wanted it back --and the british wanted spain off of the mainland of america (out of florida) so when the set up the "peace terms" they swapped out lands in 1763 -- cuba for florida --- after the american revolt and their loss the british "returned" florida to spain in 1783.)-- the "14th colony" of america stayed "british loyal" during the war --a safe haven for british loyalist --after the war when the spanish took over in 1783-- many of the english settlers that came into florida from up north in 1763 when england offered "free land" for english settlers to get people to move into florida , fled to the british carribean islands rather than stay in florida under "catholic" spanish rule --since they had to swear loyality to the spanish king and convert -- after a few years the religious part was revoked but by then many had already left.

2 of the 3 american revolt war battles fought in florida are very close to callahan , florida ( the battle of thomas creek and the battle of alligator creek / bridge.)
