Campgrounds for a week + hunt?

I am in search of some advice on the Treasure Coast region. I'm heading there in about 2 1/2 weeks for a MUCH needed week and a half of beach hunting, (Good lord willin' and the creek don't rise), and would like to find some close campgrounds along this part of Florida. Can anyone tell me where myself and my truck can find a place or two to hide from the rest of the world for a bit? My great thanks.

Not that part of Florida if you want to hide.

I think this is the coolest thing, but you have to get your own ride to the islands.

The backcountry camping sound like my kind of time. I do a lot of the same thing here in Tennessee but not islands, just up in the Smokey Mountains. I'm heading into the Treasure Coast for about a week for nothing other than getting my Tesoro out on the beach and hunt for fame and fortune
Since I'm a po' boy, my truck and I will be "roomies" for a week or so and I searching for campgrounds in the area. Counting the days.
    Again, my thanks.

Sorry I didn't see this post before now. Stay at the Sebastian Inlet State Park. You're right on the beaches and can work all of them from there. Under the present conditions you might also want to work the lesser known ones also. If you decide to take a room for a night or two, stay at the Penwood in Sebastion. I found my first eight at a site that no one ever hunts anymore because of what is generally considered a very long walk. Keep your eyes open and think out of the box and you will discover that many of these sites are actually easily to get too.
