If you are interested in reading letters from a military officer during the Seminole Wars in Florida, then this is the site. I stumbled across this site quite by accident and found it fascinating. The author gives a first hand account of his experiences in letters to his father and friends. He learns a great deal about the Seminoles, getting to know many of them personally before the war starts. Nuff said.
