I live in Zephyrhills just south of Dade City. Great detecting around here I found a Confederate civil war buckle over the summer!

Have a fort moniac listed in forts , camps and batteries of florida.This site was located at hogans ferry about 28 miles from fort gilmer,ga.Near the st. marys river.It was built in june of 1838 and abandoned in september of 1842.It served as a blockhouse and warehouse for soldiers and settlers.. 30*, 30 N -82*, 15 W
