fossils found today

I was actually fishing and only catching small bass
when I noticed these fossils laying a few feet from
where I was standing at and decided to bring them
home with me to show my wife and kids and also
to post them here on treasurenet to see if I might
get them identified by someone on the fossil forum.

after studying the first fossil
my wife thinks its a verterbrae
from something long ago.
Anyone agree or disagree?

I thought they might have been hip bones .
I will try to find them and get better pics,
maybe then I can get an answer.
