found one in sandstone, another in flint

Had found the sandstone one years ago and ya'll helped me ID it as a steinkern, or internal cast of a Brachiopod. Now I have found another and it is in a piece of flint or brown chert.
Curious to me. I have found many fossils of the external shells, but these seem backwards. What a strange and wonderful world we live in.

That is pretty wild....I mean most of what we see as fossils are bone or shell. These are, well, weird but very cool!
