Please...ID help. Bone? Rock?

My dad found this on the beach in the gulf in Mississippi. He thinks it is a bone or an antler because of what seems to be calcium deposits....I dont have a clue. What do you think?? Thanks!

This appears to be a rock of an unusual shape. What are the features that make you think it's bone?

nothing really made me think it was a bone....my dad has those thoughts. His theory is it looks like a deer leg or something. It is neat though....
