Oh more cool fossils....I would die if I ever found a tooth like one of those big dinosaur teeth.....I am assuming they are from something like that....Either that or at one time there were giant cows I haven't ever heard about.
Sorry but I am on pain meds...fell and fractured both bones in my wrist and snapped off my tailbone. I am usually not quite this silly and am much more articulate.
Thanks for sharing and apologies for my drug induced state.

Whatever it is, it is valuable. If nothing else for the lesson learned or simply the experience of having been there.

Sorry about your fall, Nash. I'm sure you have a cast on your wrist; but, what do you do to protect the coccyx while it is healing?!
I am interested in bones. Which bones did you break in your wrist -- the radius and ulna or two carpals?
“A man should keep his little brain attic stocked with all the furniture that he is likely to use, and the rest he can put away in the lumber room of his library, where he can get it if he wants it.”
--Sherlock Holmes (Arthur Conan Doyle) in "The Sign of Four"
Well, I enjoyed looking at them again. Could anything else have made those kind of marks? they are so straight it does look like intentional cuts, awsome! I've been dragging home more bones than artifacts or metal treasures on my last few trips, trying to ID them is fun. Is that leg bone from the horse ancestor?

I think that those are cut marks and if this is the leg bone that you are talking about it's a deer leg that I put together from other pieces to make a leg mount. 8) 8) 8)
