Dinosaur foot prints in Camp Verde AZ
In Camp Verde AZ off W Middle Verde Rd near Archway and Rainbow Ave, just off the I-17 theres a small dried up river bed (not vary large if I remember it right) right across from what is now an RV park is several dinosaur prints that you can clearly see. I think the largest is a three-toe print about the size of an average adult males hand. Theres several other smaller ones around the same area. No restrictions in the area, most people don't even know its there. My cousin found it several years ago, neat stuff.
If you take the exit for Cliff Castle Casino, the location is right on the other side of the highway, FYI
I'll Try and go there sometime at the end of this month or next and take some pics for yall to enjoy.

I was there in '05. If I had known about this I would have tried to find them.

Re: Dinosaur foot prints in Camp Verde AZ
I would suggest you and your cousin report those tracks to as many local and state paleontologists, universities, and museums y'all can find. Send them quality digital photographs, precise location, date when they were originally found. That way if something gets published on the tracks in scientific literature your cousin can get credit for discovery. Otherwise anyone can just come in and discover them and get credit themselves. I've already had this happen with the new tracks we discovered in Glen Rose, Texas by an out of state self-titled "paleontologist".

Hi Goldpack, I told a friend about your post, he lived there for several years. He said there are quite a few dinosaur tracks, but the area really hasn't been just swarmed with people, so there may be alot that havn't been "found". The Verde River ran through his property. Would love to see some pictures.
