    Cat Scan

    A while back I posted some photos of a stone that looks like a heart (cant find the post). Recently one of his friends managed to post the CAT scan on line, so for any interested parties have a look.
    My kibitz is that when we looked at it at the lab there were more gray scales, this seems washed out but if you look carefully you can see what appears to be internal structure in several of the images, structure that looks very much like chambers and valves.... Yes I know a pause feature would be great....

    Stay tuned, we have an apointment for a high res 3D scan last of this month!

    Interesting..

    Make sure you get the best window and level on the scan. We should be able to see much better detail with optimal windowing of the images.

    The 3 d rendering may be hard to post, turns out it is close to. 800 MB!
