I still find it amazing that I happened across that amazing fossil in a desk drawer. and I just so happen to love fossil hunting. thought I would show two I found last month. 1 is a horse tooth the other a ground sloth

Wow those are cool! All I ever see in that area is white, white, white. Guess i need to dig some!

not really.. train your eyes to focus on anything dark or black.. after a while they seem like neon lights. good luck and have fun

Bill after I read this, I tried looking for black in a shell pile. I still need to train my focus much better on black, but anyways- I found a green piece of sea glass instead. Then, just like you said, the other pieces of green sea glass literally popped, like neon lights! I was not particularly looking for sea glass but once I picked it up, the color was in my mind and became my focus and the rest just lit up!
