I'd go with turtle shell fragment.
The outside edge towards the back where it starts to flare out.

My first thought was turtle spur. Have trouble seeing an image that matches up. Thanks GB.

I'm not holding it..and might be wrong..but I find so much turtle I could likely build several.
I think that's it though.

Well whatever it , it retains most of the original outer surface. So yeah something like a spur is defenently a possibility.
