I find a lot of fossils, and many of same kinds I already have. They are all different some how no two are alike . I still pick them up even if I have a million of the same kind.
Today, I found one I do NOT have! So happy about this, its almost perfect condition too.
It is unique, as it is with deep bowl shape on the bottom side. Many differences from the echinoids I already have

Echinoid

Coenholectypus planus

And it is a beauty indeed.
"One of my favorite of the regulars"

Georgetown formation I presume. (Fredericksburg group)
Lower Cretaceous
Congrats, most have little or no detail.
I have one squashed flat with little spines stuck all over it.
