Not sure. Maybe easier to tell with a measurement (ruler, cm.) relationship picture. Many teeth look like that. Dire wolf was a large animal. Looks small in relationship to the hand.

Ill take another picture for you. Someone locally told me its a type of dolphin tooth.

Definitely not a crocodile or other reptile. It's a mammal canine. From what? I'm not sure as I'm not a mammalian dentition specialist. But if I had to guess, I'd say either dolphin or porpoise.
