I usually find shell and coral fossils in this spot but yesterday found this, Looks like a walnut? Any ideas?

Absolutely right on horn coral. I think the majority of them in my neck of the woods are Devonian. Check your local geology maps and see what they say.

They are very old many years before dinosaurs and are quite common here in Kentucky
